DNS

To manage your DNS records, connect via ssh or sftp to doheny.hotplate.co.nz using the public key you supplied during setup and edit your zone files stored in /srv/dns.

IP addresses given above are subject to change with notice. Please do not hard code them. If you have issues with the dual stacked nameserver addresses above you could use a.ns.v4.hotplate.co.nz and b.ns.v4.hotplate.co.nz instead.

For zone add and remove requests contact michael@hotplate.co.nz

E-Mail

Mailboxes and Forwarding

POP3 and the dedicated-SSL-port variants of the above protocols are not supported. Ensure you're using a mail client that supports at least STARTTLS and IMAP.

Use port 587 in your mail client for mail submission unless you are behind a very strange firewall that requires you to use port 25.

If you are setting up a new domain, you need to specify mx.hotplate.co.nz as the MX record for the domain and contact michael@hotplate.co.nz to add the domain.

Mailing Lists

To manage your mailing lists visit http://lists.hotplate.co.nz and log in with the credentials supplied during setup. For assistance contact mailman@hotplate.co.nz.

Moin Wiki and WWW

When configuring a new domain either make your host (e.g, www.example.com) a CNAME of cahuenga.hotplate.co.nz or add an A record pointing to 173.45.244.180 and contact michael@hotplate.co.nz to add the domain.

To access your static site, connect via sftp to cahuenga.hotplate.co.nz using the public key you supplied during setup. Your site files will be in /srv/www.
